Why can't my kids just stay little!? They insist on growing older each year. This year Claire turned 7. Because of Tim's situation we didn't have a friend party but we did have a doughnut birthday cake in the morning...
and a picnic lunch as a family...
Sadly, Luke had a track meet that evening so cute Claire spent the evening watching him run.
She also got to go to lunch with just Pammy and Grandpa. She also went to lunch and shopping with Grandma Carol....I did not get a picture....lame!
And no birthday is complete without a picture with me!
She asked for the Sorry Board Game and so we played that quite a bit. Worst game ever invented if you ask me but the birthday girl loves it!
Grandpa gave her a gift card to Claire's. Claire of course loved it! Special mom and girl date to the mall. She bought stuffed animals and pocket dogs. In seventh heaven...
Did you notice that Miss Claire is sporting glasses? She got those at the end of the summer. She is so dang cute in them. She still takes them off to marvel at how much clearer the world is with them on.
The eye doctor is slightly scary. She did great. Love my brave girl. She is unflappable.
