Recently, my Dad moved from the home I grew up in into a much smaller place. He has been going through all his stuff and passing along some of my childhood artifacts. One of which was a blanket. I loved this blanket. There was only one problem. I already had this blanket at home in a closet. And yet here it was at my dad's house. When I got home I showed it to Tim and he said, "Hey that's my blanket!" I said, "Um, no" Tim ran downstairs and when he came back up he was carrying an identical blanket. I wasn't going crazy! That blanket in our closet that I had assumed for so many years was my childhood blanket was actually Tim's blanket. Yes that's right, we have blankets handmade for us as children using identical fabric. Mine was made by my Grandma Charlotte and Tim's was made by his mom. The 70's were great and apparently had limited fabric choices. HeeHeeHee!
You can't see it here but mine also has yellow backing.
