It Is Finished

Just when I was sure that Claire would still be potty training on her wedding day she up and decided to do all her business in the potty.  Yes!  Everyone says that girls are so much easier to train than boys and to that I present Claire.  She was so dang stubborn about the whole thing.  She has been dry for a couple of months now but she refused to poop in the potty.  She would some days and not others.  It was so infuriating.  But yesterday and today she has just done her thing.  No fights.  No reminders.  Just sitting when she needs to and getting it done.  I'm declaring her trained.  Blessed Day!  Just four weeks shy of 8 years straight of diaper changing.  This is one part of my children's babyhood that I will not miss.  Not for one second.

Disney 2012

Last week we had a magical trip to Disneyland.  We had a flippin' awesome time with Rach and Company.  Claire was beside herself when she saw the castle for the first time.  We were so worried about how she would do on the drive down and she was perpetually happy and thrilled to see cows, horses, sagebrush.  Each thing a delight! 

All the princesses were so cute with Piper and Claire....

Rach and I waited for an hour to see this chick! 

Claire  had wanted to see Minnie the entire trip.  Of course we saw her when we were leaving the park to get Claire a change of clothes because she blew out her diaper.  We had no shame and took the picture sans pants....

Rachel and I joke that Gage and Bianca were meant to be twins but that the Lord knew one mother could not handle them both so he split them up.  When they are together it is a sight to behold.  They are cut from the same cloth and Gage invited Bee into whatever world he happens to be on at the moment.  Gage obviously thinks it is wicked uncool to be photographed with his mother!

My kids are obviously the weak link when it comes to picture taking.  Gage is in said "other" world right at this moment. 

The cousin love really warmed my heart.....

Tim and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary at Disneyland!
