Gage's Musings...

Gage's journal came home from school last week and I had the chance to sit down and read it last night.  I loved reading his thoughts and seeing what things are important to him.  One entry gave me pause...

"My fortune cookie said you can still love what you cannot have in life.  My Grandma died a year ago.  I guess this explain this."

Gage never mentions my mom.  Never says he misses her or that he ever thinks about her.  I was interested to see he must think about her a little.  He approached the subject like a scientist which sums up Gage pretty well.  It is always interesting for me to get a glimpse inside his logical mind.  So different from mine.
